Abstract

With appropriate recording and filtering technique it has recently become possible to record delayed ventricular depolarization (DVD). It has been proposed that these micropotentials reflect slow activation and asynchronous electrical activity as my occur after a myocardialinfarction, when surviving fibres are intermingled with fibrotic tissue.
