Pratiche e Politiche legate al cibo. Milano e il Food Sharing

Over the last few years the scientific and public debate around the food topics has increased considerably, especially in terms of urban food politics, food waste and new innovative practices to reduce it. Among these are the food sharing initiatives which, using online platforms, allow to recirculate the food surpluses. The paper focuses on these initiatives and presents the results of a survey carried out in Milan, in 2015, to investigate the levels of knowledge and use of the food sharing practices in the city.

Il dibattito, sia scientifico che pubblico, sulle tematiche legate al cibo è cresciuto esponenzialmente negli ultimi anni, soprattutto in materia di politiche urbane alimentari, spreco alimentare e nuove pratiche innovative per consentirne la riduzione. Tra queste spiccano le iniziative di food sharing che, utilizzando le piattaforme online, permettono di rimettere in circolo le eccedenze alimentari. Il paper si concentra su queste iniziative e presenta i risultati di una survey condotta a Milano nel 2015 per indagare i livelli di conoscenza e uso delle pratiche di food sharing da parte dei cittadini milanesi.
