The analysis outlines the obligations relevant to the issues of taking of cetaceans, dolphinaria and quasi-dolphinaria in connection with ACCOBAMS and the related instruments adopted by the Parties, as well as with other relevant international legal instruments to which all or most of the Parties to ACCOBAMS are also bound. As half of the current Parties to ACCOBAMS are members of the European Union, the relevant legislation of this regional economic integration organization is also considered in the analysis, as an important element of the current legal regime
