The authors suggest a geodynamic model of NE Italy with the support of a structural model, neotectonic activity and geophysical data. The model supposes a northward intracrustal underthrusting in the Veneto-Friuli plain. On the basis of these data a seismological analysis is proposed to identify areas seismogenetically homogeneous.-Authors
