Abstract
A proper understanding of the water cycle, and in particular of the distribution and availability of water resources will enable us to evaluate their sustainability and manage them especially in critical situations, like high temperature condi-tions, in which more consumable water is needed. To satisfy water uses it is necessary to develop an integrated system for a rational groundwater management. In DISAT and in CNR-IDPA, researches to evaluate groundwater resources are developed by long time. Mathematical models applied to hydrogeology are used to verify and simulate real systems and to predict future scenarios. The methodology use an integrate system from a data base of wells (TANGRAM) to software which permit to reconstruct the 3D geome-try of subsoil and parameterize it according to the texture distribution. This permit to generate a grid and related voxels which are the input 3D of a flux model (Modflow) for groundwater, and also for pollutants transport.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
