The low-background requirements of the nuclear physics experiment CUORE imply a detailed study of the dynamic behaviour of the support structure. In view of the geometric complexity and of some uncertainties in the mechanical features, a model updating procedure has been implemented, on the basis of some vibration tests on a small-scale specimen. The results of model updating have been exploited in a fullscale dynamic model.
