There is an undeniable link between science fiction (ciencia ficción) and geographical imaginary. During the Twentieth Century, this genre has stressed the role of Power within the geographical and environmental dynamics. The work of Philip K. Dick represents an interesting case to investigate how the “environmental issue” has become a pivotal narration in the geo-writing of the contemporaneity. In this essay, we analyze the dystopia, created by Dick, as a practice of geo-writing and, at the same time, we point out how his novels have represented an interesting form of political ecology. We considered mainly the popular geopolitics, and we focus on the novels written by Dick during the Sixties
