The aim of present research is to investigate the governance of business networks, a phenomenon that in Italy has had a remarkable expansion thanks to the recent legislation and so because it seems to be to entrepreneurs a new model of governance to deal with the crisis. Italy has implemented before other European nations the recommendations contained in the Small Business Act to demonstrate that the governance of the network can promote change and it does not consist in the abasement of their own reality but in its historical development, a tool of modernization and relevant development to small and medium-sized Italian companies. The investigation shows that, despite the diversity of applications and in the absence of adequate quantitative statistical information, a considerable interest from entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises in signing contracts network businesses in tourism sector. In the case of study concerning the “Bottega del vino” of Moncalvo a lot of local small entrepreneurs have signed an important contract of business network to promove their products. At the same time, using the ruins of Moncalvo castle as their showroom, they can increase the value of this cultural asset making an interesting matching between arts, food and wine
