The short essay examines the rules of interpretation of contracts after the Directive CEE 13/93 on consumer contracts, that introduced the new art. 1341 quinquies of the Italian Civil Code. The new role on interpetation is applicable to consumer contracts, while for other contracts is still applicable art. 1370.
Il breve saggio analizza la disciplina dell'art. 1370 in relazione all'art. 1341 quinquies, che regola i contratti stipulati con un consumatore. Le due norme convivono dal recepimento della Direttiva comunitaria sui contratti dei consumatori (Direttiva del Consiglio 13/93). il tema è quello dell'interpretazione del contratto, e della "interpretatio contra stipulatorem".
