The distribution of the absolute value of the ratio of two correlated Normals

The aim of this paper is to study the distribution of the absolute quotient of two correlated Normals. This study may have many applications because often the researcher expects that a ratio is positive or the sign of the ratio is unimportant. Keeping into account a form of the distribution of the ratio of two correlated Normals proposed by Oksoy and Aroyan in 1994, we find the distribution of the absolute quotient of two correlated Normals random variables. The form here proposed is simple to compute because it is a function of the studied by Owen in 1956. It is also given the distribution of the Absolute ratio as a function of the distribution of the Arctangent r.v. It is also given the distribution of the Absolute ratio as a function of the distribution of the Arctangent r.v..
