A hydroelectric application (preliminary permit) has been filed with the FERC by FFP Project 25 LLC and Hydro Green Energy LLC on 7/25/2007 with Project No. 12850-000 and 12883-000. The Reliance Light Project will be located on the Mississippi River in Iberville Parishes, LA. The proposed project for FFP Project 25 LLC would consist of: 3050 proposed 20 kw Free Flow generating units having a total installed capacity of 61 Mw, a proposed transmission line, and appurtenant facilities. The Free Flow Power Corp's project would have an average generation of 267.18 Gw-hr/yr and be sold to a local utility. The proposed project for Hydro Green Energy LLC would consist of: 50 proposed 100 kw dual ducted horizontal axis hydrokinetic generating units having a total installed capacity of 5 Mw, a proposed 3-mi-long, 13.6-kv transmission line, and appurtenant facilities. The Hydro Green Energy LLC's project would have an average generation of 82.87 Gw-hr/yr and be sold to a local utility.
