This comparative analytical report describes the current situation of employee financial participation (EFP) in the New EU Member States. It provides a summary of the main findings regarding the incidence of the different forms of EFP and their implementation, the conditions which influenced the adoption of EFP schemes and their developments, as well as the more significant legislative interventions in this field. Moreover, the report provides information on the role of collective bargaining in the introduction and regulation of EFP schemes and outlines the positions of the social partners on EFP.
