The IBW propagation is experimentally investigated in a steady-state toroidal plasma. IBW is indirectly excited by EPW conversion in lower hybrid resonance layer. The phenomenon is analysed in linear conditions, with respect to the relevant plasma parameters, as frequency and density profiles.
