A number of pyrazoles easily react with [Rh(PPh3)(4)H], leading to hydrido-pyrazolate complexes through oxidative addition of N-H bonds to the metal center. The reaction products have been characterized by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and standard X-ray diffraction methods.
