The TL properties of Li2B4O7:Cu have been studied in single crystal samples grown by the diameter controlled Czochralski method. The TL measurements have been performed using a home-made high sensitivity 3D spectrometer, using a heating rate of 1°C s.-1. Two peaks have been detected in the glow curve, at 145°C and 206°C. The latter proved thermally stable and its TL Intensity linear as a function of absorbed dose, over a wide range. The sensitivity, which was higher than in the powder samples, and the suitable temperature of the glow peak make the crystals very promising for dosimetric use.
