The aim of this paper is to show an health promotion project performed in the secondary schools of Chivasso, near Torino. The project aims to promote health in the district, starting from the social actors playing in. It is divided into three parts: in the first evaluation stage we submitted the "health behaviour questionnaire" to a sample of 1.532 secondary school's students (M: 41.2%; F: 57.4%; age: 16.1 ± 2.9). The questionnaire focus on risky behaviours, opinions about their influence on health, the knowledge of links between risky behaviours and the main pathologies which lead to death, self esteem, self efficacy. The second stage provided the data restitution to the different players: students, teachers, families, common people, with a specific approach, shared between all participants. The last phase is characterized by peer education workshop, aimed on increase self esteem and self efficacy, which appeared to be the variables that has a great influence on risky or health behaviour performance; and by the promotion of a "health day", a meeting day between the local actors of the whole project.

Abstract
