The article examines the changes in the discipline of conflict of interest in administrative law, specifically after the introduction of art. 6bis of the law 241/1990 by the Anti-Corruption Law. The essay points out the difficulties in the application of the new provision, particularly underlying the risks of possible misunderstanding of the proper value of conflict of interest. In this perspective, the article searches a balance between the principles of impartiality and good administration, suggesting a more flexible use of the various remedies provided against the conflict of interest
